About Our Store

Truman and Phyllis Strand opened the hardware store in 1953, and would run it for the next 30 years. Their son Dave Strand began to take over the business in the 1980s and now runs it today.

The original wooden store was damaged by a fire in the early 1980s, and replaced with the new brick and concrete building which stands today.  

Strand Hardware is proud to be a longstanding local business which has served the community for more than 60 years.
